Should you object to any of the "Terms and Conditions" including any future modifications, your only recourse is to discontinue your use of the iRefund website and any related service.

This website and all related services are directed to and are available only to Australian residents.

iRefund is the trading name of Investor Refund Pty Ltd. All references to iRefund are to be taken as to apply to Investor Refund Pty Ltd.

The use of irefund.com.au its and related services is at the absolute discretion of iRefund. iRefund reserves the right to at any time suspend or cancel or limit the use of any of its services in whole or in part either on an individual basis or more generally.

iRefund may collect and store your personal data. Your personal data will be treated in accordance with the iRefund privacy policy. It is your responsibility to update your personal data as necessary to enable you to take advantage of the iRefund services. You may do this by logging into your iRefund member account and updating your member information page.

Before entering into any transaction it is your sole responsibility to check the accuracy, currency and completeness of any information relied upon.

iRefund reserves the right to withdraw, amend, suspend or modify any or all of the services offered or any other promotional service at any time without notice.

Fee Disclosure

Managed Funds, Superannuation, Pension funds & Margin lending:

When a member purchases a new investment, iRebate will rebate 100% of the initial commission on managed funds, superannuation funds, allocated pensions. This 100% rebate will take the form of extra units in the investment. Where it is not possible to rebate the initial commission in the form of additional units, the payments will be added to the member's cash refund account and will be refunded in accordance with the member refund account policy.

Trailing commissions collected on managed funds, superannuation funds, pension funds & margin lending accounts will be credited to the member's refund account and will be available to be refunded in accordance with the member refund account policy.

Personal Insurance Policies

When a member purchases a personal insurance policy through iRefund, we will refund 33% of the initial upfront commission paid to us by the insurer. This 33% refund will be refunded upon the second annual premium paid to the insurer.

Trailing commissions collected on personal insurance policies will be credited to the member's refund account and will be available to be refunded in line with the member refund account policy.

Home Loans

100% of the ongoing trailing commissions generated by a member's home loan and collected by iRefund will be credited to the members refund account and will be available to be refunded in total. 

Where a recently established home loan (less than 2 years old) is paid out or refinanced which results in a "clawback" of home loan commissions by the originating bank, any accumulated trail commission in the iRefund members refund account will not be payable to the iRefund member.  

Reverse Mortgages

iRefund will refund 50% of the initial commissions generated by new reverse mortgages established through our partner firms.

Commercial Finance / Business Banking / Leasing Facilities

iRefund will refund 50% of the initial commissions generated by new commercial finance facilities when established through our partner firms.

Real Estate Sales Commissions

iRefund will refund 50% of the commissions received from real estate sales agents. These commissions will be credited to the members refund account and will be available to be refunded in accordance with the member refund account policy.

Property Management Fees

Commissions received from real estate property management agents will be credited to the members refund account and will be available to be refunded in accordance with the member refund account policy.

Member Refund Account Policy

During the month of December, iRefund will refund an amount equal to 50% of the first $790 pa, plus 100% of the remaining balance of a member's refund account. Therefore iRefund will only retain a maximum amount of $395 pa for our services.

The refund payment will take the form of a direct credit to the members bank account and will be processed during the month of December each year.

Where the total refund to be paid is less than $100, the amount will not be paid but rather held in the customers account until such amount accrues to more than $100.

iRefund members are entitled to add their family member's accounts & policies to their refund account. Commissions received from family members accounts and policies will add to the members refund acccount.

Should an existing iRefund member elect to discontinue the iRefund service no refund will be payable from the date of discontinuance.

iRefund gives existing members the opportunity to be rewarded for referring others to the iRefund service. iRefund will pay the referring member the sum of $50.00 per referred member once the referred member's total refund exceeds $250. This payment is an annual payment to the referring member payable on the same date the referred member is due his/her refund. This referral payment will be mailed directly to the referring member. With respect referrals for home loans the $50 referral payment is a once off payment and does not continue in subsequent years.

This referral payment is paid by iRefund out of its own funds and the fee does not effect the referred member's refund.

iRefund may have a financial interest in the outcome of the offers of financial products by way of commission payment for subscribed financial products obtained through the Product Disclosure Statements made available through this website.

iRefund may receive fees from advertising on the iRefund web site and within newsletters and emails.

You must keep your iRefund member number and password secure and not disclose it to any third party. iRefund accepts no responsibility for any consequence arising from an unauthorised third party accessing members accounts and/or changing member details.

You must immediately notify iRefund if you suspect that the security of your iRefund member number or password has been compromised.

You must be an Australian resident to avail of the services of iRefund. If you are not a resident of Australia you must not treat any information contained within the iRefund website as an offer or invitation to purchase a financial product or service.

You must comply with the laws applicable to your current residence and in Australia.

You acknowledge that all information provided by iRefund or able to be accessed via the iRefund website including promotional material, is prepared by third party providers and that iRefund is making no recommendation as to the appropriateness of the product or service to you or providing any assurance or warranty as to the accuracy, reliability or completeness of the information provided.

You acknowledge that all information provided by iRefund including promotional material or able to be accessed via the iRefund website does not constitute financial advice and may not be relied upon as such.

You acknowledge that you have read and agree with all of the above Terms and Conditions prior to making any financial decisions.

Jurisdiction

The jurisdiction for the interpretation and governance of these "Terms and Conditions" is in the state of Victoria. You submit to the jurisdiction of the Courts of Victoria.

If any one or more of the above "Terms & Conditions" are held to be invalid by a Court of Law, the remaining "Terms and Conditions" will continue with full effect.

The clauses relating to Limitation of Liability and Jurisdiction shall survive the ending of this agreement.
